This should fix the bug, and has been tried with success on both my intel and M1 laptops. One of the suggested workarounds involves opening the terminal and typing in softwareupdate -i -a -force. Is anyone experiencing this problem? and how can I fix it?

i thought it might've been because aol would disconnect after what it perceived to be lack of activity since i found that i was no longer connected to aol when i checked the download as soon as i woke.Īlso, i tried to do it once again during the day keeping my eye on it but, once again, it got to certain point and stopped. it got to a certain point in the process and just froze at that point.

Since last time i've been trying to download mac os x combo update 10.3.9 usually in the middle of the night since it took so long (compared to the first download which was faster but as you know did'nt work). Sorry this response is so late in coming but i have'nt checked my posts in awhile.
